5. Legal basis and consent

We process personal information only where we have an appropriate basis, which may include your consent, taking steps at your request before entering a service agreement, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or pursuing a legitimate business purpose where permitted by law. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Indonesian law, including Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.

6. How we share information

We may use service providers to operate our business, including website hosting, analytics, advertising, customer-relationship management, email, and communications providers. These may include Vercel, Meta and Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Humblytics, Klaviyo, and WhatsApp where those services are enabled. Analytics tools may receive page views, clicks, form-submission events, scroll depth, session duration, traffic source, approximate location, and technical information when you use our website, including client-portal and administrative routes. Humblytics uses a one-way hash of IP-address and device characteristics to distinguish visitors without storing cookies or local-storage identifiers.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Some providers may process information outside Indonesia. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards for cross-border processing.

7. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal, contractual, security, and recordkeeping requirements. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information, our relationship with you, and applicable accounting and legal obligations. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required, unless the law permits or requires continued retention.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about our processing of your personal information and ask us to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or otherwise address it. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

To make a request, email hello@everydayfinance.id. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You may stop receiving marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may stop WhatsApp marketing messages by asking us to stop. Service or enquiry responses may still be sent where necessary.

10. Third-party services

Our website, advertisements, and messages may link to or use services operated by third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms. This policy does not control independent third-party practices.
